Important note for patients and website visitors who have Coronary Artery Disease or who have had a heart attack.
We hope you will find the Heart Manual website interesting, but regret that the Heart Manual both Post MI or Revascularisation editions are not available for sale to individual members of the public. This is because the Heart Manual is a powerful therapeutic tool which must be prescribed to suitable patients by a health care professional and should be used only under properly qualified and trained supervision.
If you are a heart patient and have been prescribed one of the Manuals for your own use, please do not pass it on to anyone else. If you are a heart patient and have been given the Manual by anyone other than a health care professional, please do not use the Manual.
If you think the Heart Manual might be useful for you but it hasn‘t been mentioned by your health care team, this might be because you are not considered suitable for the Manual, or because the Manual is not used in your home area. We suggest that you ask about it the next time you see your family doctor, cardiologist or cardiac care nurse.
